ESSENTIAL OILS

Okay so here’s the thing. I am a big fan of using nature to keep healthy. Conventional medicine has amazing benefits and can save a life when it comes to things like: heart attacks, strokes, anaphylactic reactions, fractures, trauma, falls, lacerations, gun shot wounds, life-saving surgeries, ruptured appendix/gallbladder, and motor vehicle accidents. I am all for this. Nothing wrong with addressing any issues related to such things with a medical professional.
So while all that is necessary sometimes, other issues that can be addressed with nature’s medicine are things like: gut issues, thyroid issues, cognitive issues/anxiety, detoxification, rashes/skin issues, hormonal issues, fatigue, nutrient deficiencies, mold, parasites, adrenal fatigue, and so much more.
Now I’m not saying that essential oils will cure anything as far as natural medicine goes, however, they will tremendously reduce many symptoms when used consistently. Essential oils have greatly reduced my anxiety and once I changed my diet, along with it I healed my hormones, got rid of fatigue, and am more clear headed. And I promise you can feel the benefits too. Plus most of the oils smell divine!
I only recommend the purest Essential Oils if you are going to use them. Young Living is the only company I trust as they go through a rigorous testing regimen. They have farms all over the world.
Here is a list of a few of the oils that I use consistently on myself and my kiddos!
Thieves! – This is by far a must have at all times. It is literally anti-everything and such an amazing immunity boost. I roll it on myself and kiddos every day!
Lavender – AMAZING for stress and anxiety. I put a few drops in my hands, cup them, and breathe in a few times.
Frankincense – This is an oil like no other. Has every use possible: from anxiety to immune health to spiritual healing. It was an oil used in the Biblical times for healing. I will never go without this one. Highly recommend.
Lemon – Amazing smell and immunity boost
R.C. – Super blend for respiratory health. When you have a cold, just diffuse, dilute with carrier oil such as coconut and rub on chest, feet, etc. I never went without this. Helped so much when my kids used to get sick a lot.
Diagize – This one is so good for digestion, any gut issues, nausea, etc. It consists of ginger, fennel, and peppermint to name a few. So so good for immediate relief.
Eucalyptus – Another amazing oil that is so good for respiratory and sinus health. It can alleviate a stuffy nose and make breathing easier. There are different types of Eucalyptus available too!
Peace and Calming – this says it all! Such an amazing smelling oil that can help you sleep among many other things.
Stress Away – Another amazing oil blend. This smells divine if you love vanilla smell. My kiddos love this oil and it helps them so much. It has helped me significantly during days when I was super stressed out.
Northern Lights Black Spruce – LOVE this one! Provides feelings of calm and peace with a woodsy smell.
Pine – Christmas tree in a bottle. Nuff said.
Christmas Spirit – Can’t go without this during Christmas time. Smells citrusy and woodsy at the same time. My absolute favorite and replaces all the toxic candles and plug-ins.
Sleepyize – SO SO SO Amazing for SLEEP for kids and adults! An absolute must.
There are many, many, many more amazing oils and blends. The ones I listed are my top favorite ones that I must have on hand. They are a staple in my home. They have helped me detoxify my and my family’s bodies from all the toxic products we used to use. By far the best investment I made (aside from food of course). Now I just order shampoos, soaps, make-up, oils, and many more products from one place. Oh and you do not need to use a lot as the oils are super potent so they can last you for a while. So in short, Essential Oils have amazing health benefits when combined with a healthy diet. I promise, if you give them a try, you will not be disappointed. P.S. Thieves line for cleaning is my favorite and most oils I mentioned are available in the starter kit with a diffuser! If you’re interested, you can get started by going into “My Favorite Things” tab and click on the link there. I will touch more on the products by Young Living in my next blog.
Stay healthy, warm, and safe friends.
